History of Earth Cone
As a former paving contractor located in New Westminster B.C. Canada (Vancouver), I invented Earth Cone for use as a disposable cone on my recently completed small paving jobs. As a rule, I had to cordon off each and every job for a few days after completion, but it soon became too big a pain. Rubber and plastic cones are too expensive to leave behind and retrieving them at a later date was both costly and time consuming. Besides that, many a time they get stolen. There was nothing on the market that came close to what I wanted, so I decided to make my own disposable cone. It had to be inexpensive, eco-friendly, highly visible and able to leave my contact information for all the nosey neighbours to see. The 4-sided design was an immediate hit with customers and it soon became obvious that there existed a far more diverse market than paving.
